Welcome to the first edition of Beat Route, a new publication highlighting the Salisbury music scene. We want to bring you gig listings, reviews, band profiles & news, interviews – anything of interest to musicians and audiences.

 

But...this is down to you! Beat Route will only work if you want it to – and if you get involved! We want to hear from fans, bands, performers, promoters, music venues and anyone who has something to say about the local music scene. 

 

Beat Route issue number 1 features ‘Salisbury Live’, now in its tenth year and still going strong with a fantastic line-up of bands booked and ready to set the city on fire. The legendary Colin Holton gives us his views on the history of Salisbury Live and how it all started…..

 

We also feature local youth culture with articles, ‘This is Now’, ‘The Unit’ and ‘Site by Site’.
